Slideshare is a web 2.0 site that does exactly what its name implies - it allows people and companies to post and share presentation files. It is very useful for seeing what others are presenting as well as a good source for presentation ideas.

Great recommendation - I use slideshare for both sharing and ideas. The cool think about these Web 2.0 tools is the "long tail" reach - several of my shows have generated almost 2,000 views - a great way to reach potential customers. I will admit there is no real tracking to know who you reach but there is some reach there...
Another great sharing site I started using is http://www.shelfari.com for sharing books...

Thanks for the pointer to shelfari. I hadn't seen it before. I'm going to give it a try.

I love going through the World's Greatest Presentation contest applicants. I've learned so much about so many things I never would have run across.

Good point. Also, in addition to being educational I think it is just plain fun.
