Even if you've been living in a cave the last year or so you've probably still heard of Pinterest. As the chart below from Comscore shows, it's the fastest growing social networking site of all time.
If by some chance you haven't heard of it, the site allows users to post, organize and share pictures of things they are interested in. Think of it as an online, photo-sharing pinboard of interesting pictures - hence the name.
So why is Pinterest so hot? Simply put, it's really easy to use and people love it.
Businesses of all sizes have been flocking to Pinterest and it's proven to be a great site for companies that can show off their products or services with pictures. Because of this, fashion and other consumer product companies have been early adopters.
But we're starting to see a much wider range of companies get creative and take advantage of Pinterest's capabilities.
Link Coworking's Pinterest page is a great example. It combines a mix of pictures, infographics and videos to create a compelling description of Link and coworking in general.

Our Pinterest advice to small businesses is the same as all social media - learn about it, explore and test it as a business tool. If the tests show a strong ROI (remember to include time spent in your ROI calculations), use it. If not, don't.
