The European Coworking Conference site's article The Number of Coworking Spaces Exceeds a Hundred in Some Cities is fascinating.
Regular readers know we follow and do forecasts on the coworking industry. But even we're stunned at how big coworking has become in some places around the world.
Spain in particular is simply amazing. Barcelona has over 100 spaces and Madrid has near to 100. Italy is another European country with a large number of spaces.
The map of London below is from the directory site Coworking London.
It's not just the large cities that are seeing growing numbers of coworking spaces.
It's a town of about 250,000 and according to Wikipedia this makes it the "27th most populus built-up area in England and Wales". I think saying "populus built-up area" instead of "city" is a bit excessive. But hey, they're British.
Coworking continues to rapidly expand pretty much everywhere, including populus built-up areas large and small across the globe.
