I was at the Consumer Banking Association Small Business Banking conference this week. I will blog more on this later, but the topic of how to define small business came many times. It was also interesting to see how hard it was to discuss certain topics because people had differenct definitions of small business.
The bankers attending the conference got around this problem by preferencing almost every discussion by saying how their bank defined small business and which segment they were most interested in. While I found this inefficient, it was mostly effective.
