I was at the Intuit's recent Small Business Town Hall (watch it here on Justin TV) and I decided to try out my iPhone as a notebook substitute. I left my notebook at home and over the course of the day I blogged, tweeted and conducted my regular daily computing chores using my iPhone.
It went OK, but I have to admit missing a regular keyboard and the software capabilities of my notebook.
During the afternoon Town Hall I had the good fortune to sit next to bMighty publisher and Editor-In-Chief Fredric Paul. bMighty focuses on providing technology advice to small businesses and he is an expert on small business computing. He was using a Netbook and told me he loved it.
I explained what I was doing and said I wasn't sure I needed a Netbook given my existing Notebook and iPhone. His advice: "Netbooks are so cheap you should just go buy one."
He's right, of course, so I'm off to Best Buy to get a Netbook.
