Divorcing Your Job

Divorcing Your Job is a fascinating blog from Ayelet Baron, a former Cisco Vice President turned independent worker. It focuses on the transition from corporate life to a more meaningful independent life.

Career hierarchyI love her diagram of the career hierarchy and this quote about her objective:

"Work is also changing and there is a larger number of people who are choosing to divorce their jobs and live a more meaningful life. I am one of them."

Her most recent article, Do You Want to Live in a Cookie Cutter World, has a wonderful description of today's work world:

"We have entered the era of stupid when it comes to work."

In addition to enjoying the articles, I find the artwork and pictures quite entertaining. 

Divorcing Your Job is well worth visiting and subscribing to.
